Bu yıl 96. kez sahiplerini bulacak olan Akademi Ödülleri’nin tüm adayları açıklandı. Ödüller, 10 Mart’ta (Türkiye saatiyle 11 Mart Sabahı) her zaman olduğu gibi Los Angeles Dolby Tiyatrosu’nda düzenlenecek törenle sahiplerini bulacak.
Oscar Ödüllerini bu yıl da ünlü komedyen Jimmy Kimmel sunacak. Jimmy Kimmel’ın dördüncü Oscar sunuculuğu olacak.
Bu yılın iddialı yapımları arasında Christopher Nolan imzalı “Oppenheimer” toplamda 13 kategoride aday gösterilerek başı çekiyor. Oppenheimer’ı 11 dalda aday olan “Poor Things” ve 10 adaylıkla Martin Scorsese imzalı “Killers of the Flower Moon” filmleri takip ediyor. Gişede büyük bir başarı elde eden “Barbie” filmi de 8 adaylıkla rakiplerini takip ediyor.
